Aramex + ReturnMate

BetaThis integration is production-deployed and merchant-usable today. We're still expanding feature coverage and may iterate on behaviour as we learn from real usage. No service interruptions are expected.

Aramex's MENA-headquartered global network is one of the few cost-effective options for returns moving to and from the Middle East, and a useful cross-border complement across APAC. ReturnMate connects to the Aramex Shipping Services API for label generation, rate calculation, live tracking, and pickup booking on your Aramex account. Newly released in Beta — for the Australian and New Zealand domestic franchise network (formerly Fastway), see the separate Aramex AU integration.

§ 01 — Capabilities

What the Aramex connection actually does.

  • International and domestic labels via the Aramex Shipping Services API
  • Priority and economy product groups (PPX, PDX, GPX, EPX and domestic OND/ONP)
  • Live rate calculation from your account pricing
  • Pickup booking with self-serve day and time-window selection
  • Tracking sync mapped onto the RMA timeline
  • Label PDF served straight into the portal and admin
§ 02 — In practice

Where it earns its place.

Returns from MENA customers

For merchants with Middle East customers, Aramex is frequently the most economical inbound-returns network — and often the only one with reliable last-mile pickup coverage across the region.

Cross-border APAC economy returns

Where FedEx or DHL Express air rates are overkill, Aramex's ground and economy parcel express products (GPX / EPX) give a cheaper path for non-urgent returns.

Pickup from the customer

Returns can be booked as Aramex collections with the day and window chosen in the portal, keeping the customer out of email back-and-forth with support.

§ 03 — Setup

How Aramex gets connected.

Carrier accounts are set up by our team, not by you. We contact Aramex directly, obtain API access against your existing commercial account, and apply it — so you never have to source or handle API credentials.

  1. You send us three things

Your existing Aramex account number, written authority for ReturnMate to contact them on your behalf, and your account manager's name, email and phone number.

  2. We contact Aramex

Our support team requests API access against your account and handles the paperwork and technical back-and-forth with the carrier.

  3. We apply the credentials

Credentials are stored encrypted against your shop. They are never shown to you and never need to be — there is nothing for you to paste or maintain.

  4. We test it end to end

We generate a test label — including the dangerous goods transport document where it applies — and confirm it works before the carrier goes live for your team.

Turnaround varies by carrier, depending on how quickly they issue API access. Support confirms the expected timeline for Aramex when you start onboarding. Don't have an account with them yet? We can help you set one up.

§ FAQ

Questions about Aramex.

What does Beta mean for Aramex?

The integration is deployed and available to connect today — labels, rates, tracking, and pickups are wired end-to-end. Beta means it's newly released and still accumulating real-world merchant mileage, so run a test shipment on your own account before going live.

Is this the Aramex AU / Fastway network?

No — this is the global Aramex network via the Shipping Services API. Aramex Australia (the rebranded Fastway franchise network) runs on a completely different platform, myFastway, and has its own ReturnMate integration: see Aramex AU.

Does Aramex handle dangerous goods through ReturnMate?

Not yet. DG-flagged SKUs are automatically routed to a DG-capable carrier (FedEx internationally; TNT or StarTrack in AU) and Aramex is blocked for those shipments.
