Run your service bench from anywhere.
Scan incoming units, diagnose faults, capture photos, labour and parts, and move repairs through to resolution — on the same RMA record your customer service and warehouse teams work from.

Point the camera. The right job opens.
Scan a device tag, a ReturnMate QR code or a supported carrier label to find the job instantly. Incoming parcels can be received from the workshop floor; existing units open straight into their RMA or repair job.

What's due now, what's arriving, what's blocked.
SLA countdowns let technicians prioritise across a shift instead of working whatever landed last. Everything assigned, waiting or inbound sits in one list.
- Claim unassigned jobs
- Find RMAs by number, customer, order or serial
- See incoming and waiting units
- Track work assigned to you
- Move jobs through the repair workflow

The repair record stays with the unit.
Diagnostics logged at the bench, not typed up later from memory. Everything attaches to the ReturnMate RMA record, so customer service and the warehouse see it the moment it's saved.
- Log faults and diagnostic findings
- Take and attach photos
- Capture and verify serial numbers
- Record labour time and parts used
- Add internal technician notes
- Send customer-facing updates

Close the job from the bench, not the back office.
Run inspections, record warranty determinations, document repairs and resolutions, assign stock dispositions, process counter-swap workflows, hand over completed units and close jobs — all from the phone.
- Warranty determination on the spot
- Stock disposition at resolution
- Counter-swap handover
- Confirmation gate on irreversible actions

The bench stops being a black box.
In most operations the workshop is the step nobody can see into. Tech puts the technician on the same RMA as everyone else — so "where is my repair?" has an answer that doesn't require walking out the back.

Built for retail service & warranty teams.
Designed for technicians working on products where a return involves more than issuing a refund — anything needing inspection, diagnosis or repair.
It pairs with ReturnMate's warranty & repair workflows, RMA management, fault tracking and warehouse receiving.
Requires ReturnMate
Tech needs a staff account connected to a store using ReturnMate. Your administrator adds technician accounts under Settings → Users. There's no separate subscription and no per-technician fee.
Not a consumer app
ReturnMate Tech is staff-only. If you're a customer returning a product to a store, use the tracking or return link the retailer sent you — not this app.
Questions about ReturnMate Tech.
When can I download it?
Both listings are submitted and in review — iOS with Apple, Android with Google Play. We'll publish the store links here the moment each is approved. If you'd like an email when it goes live, tell us on the contact form and we'll add you to the list.
What is ReturnMate Tech?
The technician companion app for the ReturnMate post-sale operations platform. It covers the workshop side of returns, warranty claims and repairs — receiving a returned parcel, inspection, diagnosis, repair, final resolution — and keeps all of it on the same RMA record customer service and warehouse teams work from.
Who can use it?
Technicians and workshop staff with a staff account connected to a store using ReturnMate. An administrator adds technician accounts under Settings → Users. It's built for retail service and warranty teams, not for consumers.
Can technicians scan return shipping labels?
Yes. A device tag, a ReturnMate QR code or a supported carrier label — including Australia Post, StarTrack, TNT and Team Global Express — opens the right RMA or repair job instantly. Incoming parcels can also be received directly from the workshop floor.
Can technicians record labour, parts and repair photos?
Yes. Faults and diagnostic findings, photos, serial capture and verification, labour time, parts used, internal notes and customer-facing updates — all stored on the ReturnMate RMA record.
Does it cost extra?
No. Tech ships alongside the ReturnMate platform for stores on a plan that includes warranty and repair workflows. There's no separate app subscription and no per-technician licence.
