Team Global Express + ReturnMate
Team Global Express (TGE) is our go-to for national freight and any RMA where a depot drop-off makes sense. Integration covers PrintDocument label generation, multi-item consignments, and tracking sync.
What the Team Global Express connection actually does.
- PrintDocument API label generation
- Multi-item consignments on a single label
- Depot drop-off network — no pickup booking needed
- Business-to-business service codes for trade returns
- Service codes configured per shop (default X = B2B, R = B2C)
- Tracking sync with consignment number
Where it earns its place.
Multi-item consignments
Customer returns three items on one RMA. TGE generates a single consignment with all three items listed, one label, one tracking number — finance reconciles one line, not three.
Depot drop-off for B2C
For customers who'd rather drop off, the portal offers TGE depot drop-off with a location finder. No pickup booking needed, no wait window.
B2B trade returns
For TradeMate-sourced trade returns, TGE's B2B service code (X) is used automatically — freight-class pricing, end-of-day consolidation, depot-to-depot handling.
How Team Global Express gets connected.
Carrier accounts are set up by our team, not by you. We contact Team Global Express directly, obtain API access against your existing commercial account, and apply it — so you never have to source or handle API credentials.
- You send us three things
Your existing Team Global Express account number, written authority for ReturnMate to contact them on your behalf, and your account manager's name, email and phone number.
- We contact Team Global Express
Our support team requests API access against your account and handles the paperwork and technical back-and-forth with the carrier.
- We apply the credentials
Credentials are stored encrypted against your shop. They are never shown to you and never need to be — there is nothing for you to paste or maintain.
- We test it end to end
We generate a test label — including the dangerous goods transport document where it applies — and confirm it works before the carrier goes live for your team.
Turnaround varies by carrier, depending on how quickly they issue API access. Support confirms the expected timeline for Team Global Express when you start onboarding. Don't have an account with them yet? We can help you set one up.
Questions about Team Global Express.
Does TGE support dangerous goods?
Limited. TGE accepts some DG classes for freight shipments but not all. For lithium-battery returns, StarTrack (under 22kg) or TNT (over 22kg) are the default routes. Configure DG surcharges in Settings → Carrier Surcharges.
Can I drop off at any TGE depot?
Yes, any TGE-branded depot accepts drop-offs with a valid pre-printed label. The customer portal links to the TGE depot finder filtered by postcode.
What does the "X" service code mean?
TGE service codes: X = B2B freight, R = B2C consumer. Most ReturnMate customers use X for inbound returns from trade customers and R for consumer returns. The correct code is picked automatically based on order type; override per shop if needed.
